Costa Rica beats New Zealand and completes the Germany group

Costa Rica and New Zealand will play for participation in the World Cup in Qatar on Tuesday evening.
The winner meets Germany in the group stage.

Costa Rica completes the field of 32 teams for the Winter World Cup in Qatar.
Coach Luis Fernando Suaréz's team narrowly won the decisive game against New Zealand 1-0.
Joel Campbell scored the goal of the day in the 3rd minute.
Particularly dramatic: New Zealand supposedly equalized in the 39th minute.
But the jubilation didn't last long.
Referee Mohammed Abdulla took the goal back via video evidence.
With that, the group of the German national team at the World Cup is finally complete.

Logan Rogerson is convinced of the qualities of the team.
"We're going to deliver a hot dance to Costa Rica," said the 24-year-old.
“We've had ample time to find our playstyle and identity and that should all be perfect by Tuesday.
There is plenty of talent in our squad.
And while New Zealand used to not have many players active in Europe, almost the entire squad now plays at a high professional level.”
World Cup 2022: Germany meets on December 1st
in Costa Rica or New Zealand
Germany will meet Japan in Group E on November 23 (2 p.m./Khalifa International Stadium).
Four days later, the top game against Spain (8 p.m.) takes place at the Al-Bayt Stadium.
At the end of the group phase, the team around national coach Hansi Flick will play against the winner of the game between Costa Rica and New Zealand on December 1 (8 p.m.).
