The national football champion, Maccabi Haifa, opened today (Wednesday) the preparations for next season with a training that took place without the team players and without the foreign players and with the loaned youth players.
The Greens' official debut training will take place this coming Sunday.
The players who took part in the training: Roi Mishpati, Roi Fox, Itamar Israeli, Sharif Kiuf, Roni Laufer, Adar Azruel, Ofri Arad, Uri Dahan, Raz Meir, Yinon Eliyahu, Roi Elimelech, Taleb Twataha, Neta Lavie, Bassem Zarura, Ilai Haj C., Mavis Chibuta, Stav Nachmani, Ben Shehar and Dean David.

Earlier today, Haifa was drawn in the Champions League qualifiers for a pair of games against the Greek Olympiacos.
The first meeting will be held in Israel on July 19 and a week later, the national champion will go to Greece for the rematch.
