The Syrian national athletics team player, Majd Al-Din Ghazal, qualified for the 2022 World Championships in the United States, after winning first place in the World Athletics Tour in the Czech Republic, achieving a record of 224 cm in the high jump competition.
Ghazal won the third place in the high jump competitions at the Czech Ostrava Forum in the World Challenge Championship series earlier this month, after jumping to a height of two meters and twenty-four centimeters as well.
It is noteworthy that Ghazal has many achievements, most notably the gold of the Asian Championship in Doha, through which he won the first place in the world rankings, in addition to the silver of the Rome Forum, the gold of the Challenge League championship in Bratislavia, the gold of the Mediterranean tournament in Tarragona, Spain, and the bronze of the Asian session in Indonesia.
