In a historic showdown in Rabat, tonight (Wednesday) the Moroccan women's team defeated the Israel women's team 58:62, at the end of an exciting visit.
The team played with nine players after Alex Cohen was injured and not a partner in the game.
"It was a good visit," said national team coach Sharon Drucker.
"In the summer without activity any international game is good for us. We are missing a lot, but for me what is important is that we came back nicely in the second half and the girls gave heart. The result is a bit disappointing, but because it is not an official game then it is less terrible, That the girls play together. "

"I could not believe what a buzz was being made here in the country. Since we landed everyone here wants to help and contribute to us. This is the beginning of a historic collaboration. It was a great visit and I hope they come to Israel and we can play against them again," Drucker concluded.
Scorers for the team: Daniel Raber 18, Hadar Hadad 12, Eden Rotberg 11, Tal Lev 8, Gili Eisner 6, Daniel Karsh 3. Ofir Kaftan Raz and Dor Saar played and did not score.
