The managerial and professional revolution that Maccabi Tel Aviv is going through will be completed with the expected announcement over the weekend of the appointment of Oded Katash as coach.
It will only be used as a promo for the rebuilding of the cast, which will undergo many changes.
One of the favorite candidates to join the team is Guard Panathinaikos, Daryl Macon Jr..
The Yellows are interested in the possibility of signing Macon (26, 1.88), who averaged 13.1 points and 3.6 assists in his rookie season in the Euroleague.
Pau wants to keep him, but the economic uncertainty in which the Greek club finds itself, along with the fact that the team does not yet have a coach for next season, could hurt its efforts.

Macon split his college career between Holmes and Arkansas, but was not drafted when he finished it in 2018.
He managed to appear in eight games for the Dallas Mavericks and play in the Development League, then moved to Europe.
Two years ago he signed for Glatsray and played in the media for half a year, before moving to AEK Athens in the middle of last season.
In Greece, he stood out with 18.2 points per game (45.7 percent for three) and lost in the playoff semifinals to Katsch and Pao, to which he moved last summer.
AAC's longtime partner at AQ, Keith Langford, said of him about a year ago that "he has the ability to become Mike James' successor."
Macon has issued impressive 34-point shooting appearances this season against Anadolu Efes, 23 against Olympiacos in the Euroleague and 20 alongside 11 assists against Alba Berlin, but in many cases he was spared in the shadow of Nemanja Nadovic and also had nine games in which he did not reach double figures.
Panathinaikos is facing the end of its worst season since becoming one of the top teams on the continent, and for the first time since 1995 is expected to go on holiday without winning even one title.
She is 2-0 behind Olympiacos in the playoff final, while Macon got a few minutes from coach Yorgos Voboras in both games (14.5) and scored just three points on average.
If the Reds win tomorrow (Friday) at home, they will win the Greek championship.
