Richard Neudecker admits mistakes after his departure.
After an open conversation with coach Michael Köllner, there was no basis for further cooperation.
Munich – A farewell picture, a few words of appreciation on the club’s website – that’s it for most TSV 1860 graduates. Changes are part of the daily routine in professional business – accordingly, lions become ex-lions without a sound when the last game is played.
The only exception: the move from homegrown Richard Neudecker (25) to 1. FC Saarbrücken was accompanied by lamentations from the player and justifications from the coach.
"Richy wasn't present in any big game," said Michael Köllner severely: "At some point you have to say: I'm in control, because in the end I have to put my head down."
“He spoke to the club in no time.
Kobylanski was our answer.”
Michael Köllner on the departure of Richard Neudecker.
And how exactly did the breakup come about?
Köllner's account: In February there was "an offer for Richy", which was ignored by Neudecker's advisor: "He talked to the club in no time." The end of the song: 1860 reoriented itself - although Neudecker would have liked to have stayed .
"Kobylanski was our answer," said Koellner sternly.
And what does Neudecker say?
After a post that sounded offended (“The club decided to make a change without me”), he now confirmed the lion’s version – and admitted omissions.
"My advisor and I made mistakes," he said in the YouTube format Tautzi calls.
A meeting during the summer break cleared up any misunderstandings between the coach and the player.
Neudecker: “We had an open discussion.
In the end, both sides said: It doesn't make any sense anymore." Köllner sees it this way: "Maybe it's good for both sides to try something new." (ULI KELLNER)
