Member of the Athletics Federation, Fidaa Al-Shoufi, won the membership of the Arab Federation for Athletics, during the meeting of the General Assembly of the Federation, which was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, with the participation of 19 Arab countries.
In a statement to SANA, Al-Shoufi said, "Winning membership in the Arab Federation is in addition to her winning membership in the West Asian Federation last year, expressing her happiness at representing her country and membership in the women's seat in the Arab Federation for the advancement of female athletics and pursuing the field that she loves on a higher and broader level."
It is noteworthy that Al-Shoufi was born in 1985 and is a graduate of the Faculty of Physical Education from Tishreen University and a diploma in educational qualification from Damascus University and a member of the Syrian Athletics Federation for seven years. .
