Formula 1: qualifying today in the live ticker - fans have to be patient for a long time
Qualifying, which we follow here in the live ticker, is on Saturday evening – the start is at 10 p.m. German time.
Because of the time difference, the supporters of Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc, Sebastian Vettel and Co. have to wait an unusually long time for the qualification this weekend in Germany.
It's only 4 p.m. in Montreal.
It's already a used weekend for Leclerc.
In the case of the Monegasque's Ferrari, further engine parts were renewed.
Because Leclerc has already exhausted the penalty-free contingent for these parts after a good third of the season, he has to start from the end of the field.
Formula 1: Charles Leclerc transferred as a penalty, Fernando Alonso strong in the Canadian rain
The third free practice session on Saturday afternoon at just 11 degrees and rain had manageable significance.
Many drivers approached the conditions, only a slight improvement is expected for qualifying.
The race (Sunday, 8 p.m. CEST) should then take place in sunshine.
Ex-world champion Fernando Alonso (Spain/Alpine) set the fastest time in 1:33.836 minutes ahead of Frenchman Pierre Gasly in the AlphaTauri (+0.053 seconds) and Vettel.
The four-time champion from Heppenheim followed in the Aston Martin only two thousandths behind.
Leclerc was the only driver who did without a timed lap.
Mick Schumacher in the Haas was 18th (+3.552), world champion Max Verstappen in the Red Bull experimented a lot and came in ninth (+0.780).

Formula 1: Max Verstappen with a good chance of the next triumph
After the first three World Championship races, Leclerc was still 46 points ahead of Verstappen, and he is now 34 points behind the Dutchman.
Last but not least, this has to do with his engine damage at the races in Barcelona and last Sunday in Baku.
Ferrari said on Friday that the power unit from Baku could no longer be repaired.
However, there was a possibility that Leclerc would have used components that were already in use.
The Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve is considered a track where you can easily overtake with a superior car due to the number of straights and hard braking points.
Since 2015, however, only drivers who started from the front row have won in Canada.
We are curious to see who will get the best starting position on Saturday evening and will follow the qualifying in the live ticker.
