New Zealand manager Scott Robertson celebrated his team's victory, the Canterbury Crusaders, in the Super Rugby Pacific final with

It was perhaps the moment Crusaders fans were waiting for the most on Saturday night.

After his team's victory against the Blues (21-7) in the Super Rugby Pacific final, coach Scott Robertson performed his famous dance steps around the cup under the encouragement of his players and his staff.

The 47-year-old coach showed that he had retained all his agility and indulged in some rather spectacular breakdance steps.

All in a sweater, pants and dress shoes!

It must be said that the players from the Canterbury region had an almost perfect meeting against the Auckland team which had finished the season at the top of this championship which now opposes twelve Australian and New Zealand teams.

Robertson's men finished the first period with a 13-point lead, thanks in part to a late try from scrum half Bryn Hall.

Advance that they increased to 16 points shortly after returning from the locker room before the Blues had a burst of pride through Finaly Christie, author of his team's only try in this meeting.

The Crusaders will finally have the last laugh with a second try scored by winger Sevu Reece a few minutes from the final whistle.

A now traditional victory dance

If these dance steps were particularly awaited by fans of the Crusaders, it is because Scott Robertson made it his specialty.

In 2015, he had already performed a similar celebration after the New Zealand Under-20 team crowned England in the Junior World Championship.

The former third row of the All Blacks kept this habit once at the head of the Crusaders team with which he won six consecutive Super Rugby titles (then Super Rugby Pacific).

He had thus performed these dance steps after their title in the final of Super Rugby in 2018 against the South African Lions or against the Argentinian Juaguares the following year (Super Rugby included teams from Argentina and South Africa before the pandemic).
