Russian Daniil Medvedev qualified for the final of the Halle Tennis Tournament, after defeating his German opponent, Oscar Otti.
Medvedev beat Ooty 7-6, 6-3 to meet the winner of the confrontation that will bring together troubled Australian Nick Kyrgios and Poland's Hubert Hurkacz later today.
Medvedev hopes to win only his second title on grass after he won last year in Mallorca, Spain, and the 14th in total in his professional career, during which he won one major title so far, and was in the US Open last summer.
