Tour favorite Tadej Pogačar strangely missed victory on the queen stage of the Tour of Slovenia.
The 23-year-old Slovenian from UAE Team Emirates dominated the fourth leg of the Tour of Slovenia with his Polish team-mate Rafal Majka – and just before the finish line played »Schnick-Schnack-Schnuck« for the day's victory on the 152.5 km long queen's stage from Lasko to Velika Planina.
His precious assistant Majka won the game - video footage shows him choosing paper, beating the stone chosen by Pogačar.
Majka then crossed the finish line arm in arm with his captain.
The Pole had already won the first stage, and last year's winner won the third stage of the tour.
The Slovenian leads the overall standings with three seconds ahead of 32-year-old Majka.
Pogačar, 2020 and 2021 Tour de France winner, is using his home tour as final preparation for the Great Loop, which starts in Copenhagen on July 1.
The final stage on Sunday takes the field over 155.7 km from Vrhnika to Novo mesto.
