Did TSV Waldkirchen win big because the newly promoted state league was the first club to be able to compete with the refurbished Löwen (Sunday, 4 p.m., Löwen TV live)?
For Thomas Gründinger, 56, the football department head of the village club, the guest appearance of the big TSV triggers mixed feelings.
Mr. Gründinger, is Waldkirchen prepared for the onslaught from Munich?
Gründinger:
I assume so.
We expect 2000 spectators, minimum.
There are only 200 seats, everything else is standing room, but we have had 9000 people there before.
That was in 1996, when Bayern were guests at the 125th anniversary.
At the 150th anniversary, which is celebrated a year later due to the corona, it is against the lions. Is the region more red or more blue?
Gründinger:
I think we have more red fans.
I don't know too many lion fans myself.
Although: there have already been requests for tickets from fan clubs in the region, for example from Lalling.
