The second day of the World Swimming Championships in Budapest opened today (Sunday) with Israeli disappointment, when Anastasia Gurbanko did not reach the semifinals in the 100-meter breaststroke.
The 18-year-old Gorbanko finished her qualifying time in a time of 1: 07.88 minutes when she touched the sixth wall, but in the overall standings she only finished in 18th place which was not enough for the next stage.

It should be remembered that Gurbanko will still have an ointment tonight, when she will jump to the mixed 200-meter final after advancing to it from sixth place, and she will try to get a historic medal for Israel in the event.
