The three-year-old thoroughbred English filly Nashwa ridden by Hollie Doyle won the Prix de Diane Longines on Sunday at Chantilly (Oise), a first crown for a woman jockey in this 2,100-meter race.

Nashwa ensured his departure quickly placing himself in the leading group.
She took command 400 meters from goal and withstood the final attack from the French filly, La Parisienne, who had to settle for second place.

This edition, contested on good, soft ground, brought together seventeen fillies, French and British, in front of a crowd of spectators, including many elegant women with sometimes extravagant headdresses.
