And another euphoria booster at the start of the preparation: Köllner gets a desired player for the offensive midfield - and a former striker as an assistant coach.
Unusual additional shift for Michael Köllner at the end of the 45-minute opening press conference.
A camera team from France was there and asked the lion's coach for an exclusive interview.

The coach went into raptures as he reviewed the Löwen's "top transfer summer".
"How's Brezlbacken" the new players were committed, "that went bap, bap, bap." Eight times in total.
And the ninth "Bap" has been official since Saturday morning.
As the club confirmed, Köllner will also get his dream player for attacking midfield: Joseph Boyamba, 25, from league rival Waldhof Mannheim.

Boyamba scored the last of eight goals of the season on March 20 – in Mannheim's 3-0 win over Köllner's Löwen.
The right winger, who once trained at Schalke and Dortmund, is looking forward to his new role.
"I will do everything to ensure that we achieve the goals we have set together," said the native of Troisdorf.

For the test match on Sunday in Waldkirchen, however, it looks bad with a Boyamba mission.

A successor for assistant coach Günter Brandl, 61, has been found, one with a 1860 past.
None of the traded ex-bosses (Torsten Fröhling, Reiner Maurer), but an ex-striker: Stefan Reisinger, 40. "Bild" had the name first.
Most recently, the Landshut team boss was at KFC Uerdingen.
Already on Sunday in Waldkirchen he should be on the line next to Köllner.
