Paulo Maldini played for Milan for 25 years.
More than anyone else.
He has always been praised for his ability and especially for his loyalty to the club with which he has won every possible title, but now it seems that his professional comeback to the team is in jeopardy.
During 2018, nine years after he hung up his shoes, and among other things also experienced professional doubles tennis (including one ATP tournament), Milan changed owners and called Maldini to the flag.
Maldini (who will celebrate his 54th birthday next week) has been appointed as the professional manager and landed at the club talents like Rafael Lao, Olivier Giroud, Pacquiao Tumori and more.
It ended with a first championship last season, after 11 years of drought, but it seems now that PSG is about to ruin the celebration.
Maldini, who is highly regarded for his actions in his current role, has sought to sign the great Portuguese midfielder Renato Sanchez, who has already summed up his terms at the club.
However, a double financial offer from PSG may torpedo the signing.

Maldini made it clear that if Milan allowed the French, who enjoy a huge financial backing, to "kidnap" Renato, he would resign.
Milan will find it difficult to stand in the way of the Portuguese if he chooses to move from Lille to the French champions, as the latter offered him 30 million euros, compared to 15 million that the Italian champion is willing to pay for.
Will the great affair between the legendary Maldini and Milan soon end?
