Syria is participating in the World Aqua Swimming Championships, which started yesterday in Hungary, as part of the Faina Fitness Games 2022.
Syria is represented in this championship, which is taking place in several Hungarian cities, the two players Ayman Kelzieh in the 50 butterfly race and Omar Abbas in the 200 freestyle race, and the best swimmers from different countries of the world compete in it.
In a statement to SANA, Hammam Maalla, head of the Swimming Federation, stressed the importance of Syria's participation in this international event and raising its name high, wishing the Syrian players to break new records.
