Tonight (Sunday), the Israeli youth team missed an opportunity to achieve their first ever victory at the European Under-19 Championships, but parted ways in a brutal 2-2 draw against Serbia.
Ophir Haim's side were trailing by a goal by Marco Laztic (8), but Oscar Gluch took advantage of great cooking by Dor Turgeman to equalize for the Whites (17).
In the second half, Ofir Haim made two substitutions that shifted the momentum to the Israeli side - Ahmad Salman and Ido Toklomati.
The Hapoel Jerusalem striker took advantage of a mistake in the Serbian defense to push close after two attempts and set up a reversal in favor of Israel (74).
The Whites recorded a number of misses and were able to close out interest, with Stefan Lekovic on the other side pinning a ball that was bounced off Glicklich's crossbar to set up a points distribution (93).

Minute 6: Oscar Gluch advanced with the ball, avoided the guard and from a distance of about 20 meters kicked a ball that missed the frame.

83 minutes: A beautiful operation by Ido Toklomati ended in a kick that was not strong enough, but accurate and the Serbian goalkeeper had to stretch his limbs and save the corner.
86 minutes: Lior Glicklich did not come out well for a corner kick, but came back in time to fend off a shot that almost passed him and went in.

Lior Glicklich kicked the Serbs' kick to the crossbar, and Stefan Lekovic was there to hit the bare arc and equalize for the Serbs, two minutes into extra time.
