A successful opening for the Israeli delegation today (Monday) at the World Swimming Championships.
In the 50-meter breaststroke, 20-year-old Chris Pitchogin, the Israeli double-distance champion, who has been in great shape recently, touched the wall with his allotment in a time of 27.45 seconds and qualified for the semifinals from tenth place.
His teammate Itai Goldfaden, who is also the Israeli champion in this ointment, took part in the seventh and final leg, he set a result of 27.87 seconds - he finished in 16th place and did not advance to the next stage.

17-year-old Daria Golobti, in her world championship debut, jumped into the water for the 200-meter freestyle.
She finished in a time of 2: 01.01 minutes and finished in 23rd place.
