The director of the football leagues is under greater pressure than what is happening with Betar Jerusalem. The big fear is that such an important club in the Premier League will open next season with minus 12 points and a low budget that will lead to a team that will have cannon fodder in the league and chances of staying in the league are slim. It is important in Israeli football not to have a worthy sports rival in the league, it is a very bad situation for the entire Premier League and first and foremost for the body that manages Israeli football - the director of the football leagues.

Director Erez Kalfon has more than once addressed the chair of budget control, CPA Sigalit Sage, and asked her to put the issue of Betar Jerusalem at the top of the list for next season and not let the matter of transferring the budget to next season continue deep into July.

The administration wants clear answers as soon as possible, whether Betar Jerusalem is going to appoint a trustee on behalf of the court who will manage it and perhaps bring it to liquidation or whether it will be operated on a minimum budget.

The ideal is of course to transfer the club into the hands of another person who will acquire Betar from Moshe Hogg or through the court, but the current situation is unbearable for a league that is supposed to generate interest and ratings.

In the meantime, and in order to put further pressure on Betar Jerusalem, the principal is expected to refuse to transfer allotments to Betar, even if Moshe Hogg celebrates his personal security check.

The board of directors has previously decided that a group that does not undergo control will be able to receive only 50 percent of the monthly allowance to which it is entitled and on the condition that its owner transfers a personal security check against the amount.

The amount that the groups have to receive in June or July is NIS 320,000 each month and as stated because groups do not go through control during this period, they are allowed to withdraw only 50 percent of the amount against a security check.

In the case of Betar Jerusalem, if there is a demand to receive the money from the principal, the governing body of the league has the right to reject it even if the team owners pass a security check and hence the chances are slim that Betar will receive allowances from the principal as long as it has not passed the authority. Budgets to the budget it will submit.
