Israel's artistic swimming team achieved the best achievement of the industry in the world championships today (Monday), after finishing in fifth place in the final of the free combo exercise.

The team that includes Shelly Bobricki, Eden Belcher, Polina Prikczykova, Maya Dorf, Ariel Nasi, Nicole Nachshonov, Noy Gazla, Katie Kunin, Neta Rubitchek and Shani Sharizin and alongside the coaches are Anna Teres and Larissa Kunin, scored 85.9667 points.

This is a slightly better score than the qualifiers, but it gave them fifth place overall, with the gold medal won by the Ukrainian team with an impressive score of 95.0333 points, second by Japan with 93.5667 points and third by Italy with 92.0333 points.

As mentioned, this is Israel's best position ever in artistic swimming at the World Championships, when until today it was the sixth place in the 2019 championship in the highlight exercise, in the final they entered automatically, when in this exercise, the record was seventh place in the championship three years ago.

It is important to emphasize that the free combination exercise (combo) is an exercise that combines swimmers from the duet and solo and is not part of the Olympic program.
