Toujours sous la houlette de Thierry Laurey, le Paris FC, quatrième du dernier championnat et barragiste malheureux, a déjà repris l’entraîn

A little over a month later, the Parisians are already hard at work.

At the Orly training center (Val-de-Marne), a Parisian group restricted by multiple absences resumed contact before getting to the heart of the matter this Tuesday with the start of a ten-day training course at Deauville (Calvados).

"We have a few injuries, some players will resume later because they have or are in selection, others are about to leave us or join us, in short, it's a classic recovery, draws Thierry Laurey , the coach of the Parisians for the second season in a row.

I often say that the recovery is going smoothly because we don't have a defined group yet.

Things finally move when the Ligue 1 resume training and even more so as the resumption of the championship approaches.

Every year it's the same.

Among the new features, we will note the presence of Armand Sène (57 years old), who joined the club's technical staff at the post of assistant coach.

In just under an hour, the group of 18 players present, including Vincent Demarconnay, Jonathan Iglesias and Mustapha Name, trotted before performing a juggling session then various workshops with the ball.

Balloons which have also fueled both the discussion between the players but also their curiosity.

The famous Kipsta, which will be official in next season in Ligue 2, being considered lighter and floating, which can thus lose in precision and power.

Then head to the weight room for a short session before the lunch break.

“It's a first contact, confirms the Parisian coach.

We will get to the heart of the matter tomorrow with our internship in Deauville.

“It stays in our throats, plague Laurey.

Since they changed coaches

(Editor's note Olivier Echouafni in place of Fabien Mercadal)

, they no longer want to play this match.

This match was good because he was on his way back from our internship.

There, we will have to do more kilometers.

Instead, the Parisians will face RC Lens.

A meeting they will play with Samir Chergui (23), who has extended his contract.

"It's good news, it was my top priority," notes the coach.

Recruitment level, Thierry Laurey wants to strengthen his group with 2 defenders, 2 midfielders and 3 attackers.

For the first pick, there is Mehdi Chahiri (25), a striker on loan from Strasbourg (L1) for a year.

The other reinforcements should follow in the coming days.

After six weeks of work, the Parisians will attack their first day of the season with a trip to Sochaux, their last opponent of last season.

With only two climbs, the PFC hopes once again to do well.

"For me, there are two favorites, Metz and Saint-Etienne, who descend from Ligue 1, and perhaps Bordeaux if he stays in Ligue 2," concludes Laurey.

And then there will be the outsiders like Sochaux, Caen, Guingamp, Dijon and us, who are part of the outsiders.

We will play the top of the table.

We have a start to the season with complicated matches against Sochaux, Quevilly-Rouen, Guingamp, Niort, Caen or Amiens.

It's up to us to catch the right wagon…”

Friendly matches.
