A few days after winning the NBA Championship for the seventh time in the history of the best league in the world, and for the fourth time in the last eight years, the Golden State players and the professional team of the team from San Francisco celebrated tonight (Monday) in the traditional parade with hundreds of thousands of fans.
Before leaving for the procession on the bus, the Warriors players took the stage in front of the fans with the one who obviously got the most attention being Steph Kerry who won the "MVP" calls.
"You gave us a foundation to go up and do amazing things. Things that have never been done in the history of basketball," said the big star who won the Outstanding Series title against Boston.
Coach Steve Kerr said during the festivities: "Most teams change every few years both on the staff and on the lines. We have gained so much experience and we all know how to do it together. The connection between us and the continuity is very noticeable."
Kerr and his players, who received quite a bit of criticism during the year, did not ignore the noises during the playoffs and closed an account with the same hitters who were waiting for them in the corner.
"I'm just thinking about the most controversial thing I can say, just like the media does," said Drymond Green, the player with the biggest mouth in the Warriors. "What can I say? We're beaten them all. ".
Green added: "I love everyone here. To win the championship, everyone must contribute and give everything. That's why every championship is special, because of the journey, and the people you go on the journey with, and what makes me most happy is to see the guys who win For the first time ... so thank you to everyone, and as always, fuck everyone else.
