The Olympic duet of the Israeli team in artistic swimming, Eden Belcher and Shelly Bobricki, qualified today (Tuesday) for the final of the technical exercise at the World Championships in Budapest from tenth place.
In doing so, they complete a "double" of finals in the duet exercises, having also qualified for the final of the technical exercise, in what was the first ever immigration of an Israeli duet to the world championship final.
Belcher, from Hapoel Beit Shemesh, and Bobricki, from Mazkeret Batya, scored 85.6 points and were ranked 10 out of 33 teams that took part in the qualifiers, among other things, they are surprising and pass the British duet by 0.7 points.
This is, so far, the best world championship of the Israeli team in artistic swimming, in an industry that maintains a tradition of years within the framework of the Olympic Games.
The final will be held on Thursday at 17:00 Israel time.
