Another dramatic move in Israeli basketball: Guy Pnini is leaving Hapoel Holon and is expected to return for the retirement season at Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The 38-year-old Pnini closed tonight (Monday) with the heads of Hapoel Holon on a farewell at the end of five years during which he won the championship and the cup with the team, served as captain and became a symbol of the new and successful era of the purple club.
He is now expected to return to the team where he became a sergeant and captain between 2009-2017.
During his time at Maccabi Tel Aviv, Pnini won European championships, trophies and championships.
