Syrian basketball fans are looking forward to our national team’s confrontations with Bahrain and Iran on the first and fourth of next month, respectively, within the third window of the World Cup qualifiers, at the Hamdaniya Hall in Aleppo.

Loaded with great ambitions to achieve victory over its competitors in the upcoming window of the qualifiers, our team will head to Lebanon on the twenty-fourth of this June to conduct a short external training camp, which will include two friendly matches with its Lebanese counterpart. Our team had lost to its Iranian counterpart 80-68 points in the second window of the World Cup qualifiers in the match that brought them together in the Iranian capital, Tehran, after beating its Bahraini counterpart by 80-64 points in the same window in their match in the Bahraini capital, Manama.

In the first window, our team lost against its Kazakh counterpart in the first leg of the first window of the qualifiers, with a score of 74-84 points, during their meeting in the Kazakh capital, Nur Sultan, and also lost in the return match within the same window, which brought them together in Al Fayhaa Sports City in Damascus, with a score of 71-81 points.
