Bigger than life:
An exciting meeting took place yesterday (Monday) for the Israeli men's judo team, which is currently in a training camp in Mongolia, ahead of the Grand Slam competition that will open there this weekend.
Last night, at the end of a training day, the team went out to dinner, to celebrate the 52nd birthday of coach Oren Samadja, but on the way they noticed Homeless asking them for money, but instead, the judokas just decided to invite him to sit with them at a restaurant.
For an hour and a half, the guy sat and told them the story of his life, and after parting ways with European champion and bronze medalist from team competition Peter Placzyk, he felt the act was not enough and ran to look for him to give him a shirt to keep him warm and some money to help him.
Passers-by who saw the gesture, began photographing and understanding the incident, and when they found out who it was, they began uploading the documentation to social media.
Plachik told Israel Today: "Instead of being disgusted by him, they let him drink and eat and we entertained him and he joined Oren's birthday celebrations. I felt it was not enough and after he left, I ran to him and gave him the shirt. The guy was very excited and started. Cry and hug me. "
"He told me in English, 'I'll never forget you.' We had an amazing connection in the conversation and he said he was a water engineer. The next morning I woke up to hundreds of messages about what I was doing. We got a lesson for life, I felt that God had examined me, "he added.
