Little by little Galtier is getting closer to Paris.

But if there is less and less suspense as to the identity of the future coach of PSG, the happy ending to seal the birth of the collaboration between the coach of OGC Nice and the champion of France is not yet written.

While the club of the capital has, since last week, entered into negotiations with the management of the Aiglons, no agreement has, for the time being, been reached between the two parties for the transfer of Galtier, to which there are still two years of contract left on the Côte d'Azur.

The links that unite Christophe Galtier and Luis Campos, new football adviser appointed in place of the Brazilian Leonardo, certainly facilitate discussions.

But the tandem they formed together at LOSC between 2017 and 2020 still remains subject to a few details before they can be operational again.

The contractual situation of Galtier seeming to authorize the leaders of Nice to be greedy as for the transfer indemnity (estimated around 10 M€), the finalization of the file could still take some time.

The Parisian club, which claims to want to make the right decision, even believes that a solution is far from being found, even if discussions continue between all the parties concerned.

In addition, Paris cannot in this case put itself at fault with its current coach, Mauricio Pochettino, as well as with its staff still under contract until June 2023. If it has been warned by its leaders that it will not would be more in control of the Parisian formation next season, the Argentine coach must, however, find common ground with his leaders before seeing them announce the name of his successor.
