The district upper league football team from TSV Eching kept a cool head despite the heat and won their last game of the season in Höhenrain 2-0.

– The bottom line is that the footballers of TSV Eching managed to stay up in the league and thus achieved their goal for the season.
At the end of the round of points, the Zebras girls celebrated their highest win of this regional league season with a 2-0 (1-0) win at FSV Höhenrain on Saturday.
But it was a game in difficult conditions.
Looking at the table, it was clear in advance that both teams could approach the game in a relaxed manner.
However, because only ten of the Echinger footballers had traveled there, the teams decided to play with one player less each.
The heat also made things difficult for both teams - in addition, the referee ordered too few drinking breaks from the point of view of TSV.
Relaxed and free despite the sweltering heat
Despite this, the visiting troop from Eching played loosely and freely - and managed to take the lead despite the slight superiority of the Höhenrainerinnen: Paula Theis snatched the ball away from an opposing central defender, rounded the goalkeeper and pushed in to make it 1-0 (29th minute). ).
This really got the ten Zebras players excited.

In the second half, too, TSV presented the spectators with an exciting game with nice playful elements.
The FSV was particularly dangerous through standard situations, but the defense of the Echingerinnen was solid and hardly allowed anything.
Shortly before the final whistle a ball landed at Theis, who shot into the bottom corner from 16 meters (82nd) and thus secured the 2-0 away win.

"Ending the season nine points ahead of the relegation places is a great success for us as a promoted team and makes us look forward to next year," said TSV coach Jan Strehlow.
After the strenuous round, his girls now have a four-week break.
