Admittedly a bit jarring in tone, but now it's also official - Tony Wakma is leaving Trabzonspor.
After four years, the 33-year-old Nigerian and ex Hapoel Beer Sheva, who was one of the most esteemed players in his team and even won the championship, cup and Super Cup, finally parted ways with his Turkish team.

Written on the nets by Trabzonspor, who waved goodbye to Wakma, whose name was linked last week to Fenerbahce.
Either way, the luxury group have already denied any contact with the Nigerian striker, announcing on their official Twitter account: "We have had no professional contact with Tony Wakma regarding the transfer in the current transfer window and not even in the past".

Just last week, Nigerian Wakma wrote a jarring farewell on his Instagram account: "Dear fans, make you be against me so that it looks like I're the one who decided to leave. Also try to hurt my worth. Just know that I appreciate our four years together because we won "In the championship and in the Turkish Super Cup. We made history."
In four seasons in Turkey, Wakma has scored 47 goals and cooked 40 times in 145 appearances in all competitions.
