Good news was trumps at the annual general meeting of the SpVgg Altenerding vital sports group (V-Group).

Altenerding – The department management was happy about the good results, at least for the general area.

"The number of members is relatively constant, deaths and resignations were offset by new admissions," reported department head Rudi Kirmeyer.

"The department is also doing well financially, the holiday sports lessons have kept the income from the health insurance regulations quite constant." In addition, there were the higher grants from the BLSV and the state government due to the pandemic.

"This money was again well invested in new sports equipment," he said.

Thanks to the active participation in the training hours, despite limited opportunities for exercise, the number of training hours performed in the 2021 reporting year was close to the number before Corona.

The head of department praised the flexibility of the trainers in designing the sports program.

"In the meantime, all restrictions have been lifted again and the department management is trying to get back to normal." The last suspended training group 6 with volleyball could also take place again, but the active ones are still missing at the moment.

"The department management was already successful in their search for new trainers," said Kirmeyer happily.

"A trainer contract has already been concluded with Anneliese Besl, a second lady is currently starting her training at the BLSV and will take part in the course for cardiac sports trainers in the autumn."

The return to normal was also reflected in the holding of a very well-attended information evening.

Matthias Schuffenhauer presented the latest in cardiology “with his lively consultation hours”.

On average, a good 20 people take part in the monthly hikes in the district.

"Our intensified public relations work is also having an effect here," emphasized the head of department.

"We always welcome guests who are interested in heart sports." There will also be a season-ending party again this year, on July 22nd in the Gasthaus Stulberger in Fraunberg.

In addition, the department management is already working on planning the holiday program with a hike and a visit to the autumn festival.

Kirmeyer was particularly pleased that the honors of the long-standing members could finally be made up for.

"16 members have already had ten years of heart sport, five people 15 years, and ten people have been loyal to the V-Group for 20 years," reported the head of department.

The award for 25 years of membership was made by the second chairwoman of the SpVgg Altenerding, Heidi Schneider.

"Heart sport keeps you young, as shown by the membership of two people aged 30 and three aged 35," stated Kirmeyer, who then presented certificates to some of the birthday children.

"Overall, we were able to report on a good year 2021 in the V-Group," summarized department head Kirmeyer and finally said: "Even though the sports facilities were limited, our task of being a service provider for the health of our members could be fulfilled. "
