Maccabi Tel Aviv and Eran Zehavi have reached a full agreement on his contract for next season, and the club is waiting for the striker's announcement that he has decided to return to Israel.
In recent days, with Zehavi staying on holiday in Mykonos, even the smaller details in Zehavi's contract were finally closed, so for him he got everything he wanted from Maccabi Tel Aviv, the club where he played from January 2013 to summer 2016 and with him won three championships.
It is a contract for one season with an option for another season and a salary of one million euros net, but there were several other details that required final agreements and they were reached with owner Mitch Goldhaar, so for Zehavi there are no more disputes and he should give the final announcement that he is a Maccabi Tel Aviv player next season.

Zehavi will end a week-long vacation in Mykonos tomorrow and it seems that there is a high chance that he will be announced as a Maccabi Tel Aviv player by the end of the week.
Zehavi also holds offers from Botafogo and Washington and he has certainly debated quite a bit in recent days and shared with many of his acquaintances who expressed their opinion as to his future, but in the end, as he has done in the past, Zehavi will go with his heart.
At Maccabi Tel Aviv, as mentioned, they expect this to happen immediately and that he will be presented as the team player.
As for Parfa Gagon, last night a meeting was held between his representatives Avi Nemani and Frank Belhassan and Maccabi Tel Aviv's legal counsel Moran Meiri and the team's professional manager Barak Yitzhaki, at the end of which significant progress was made between the parties towards signing a new four-year contract with a fifth season option.
As you may recall, Gyagon returned from the loan season at Maccabi Netanya, where he made a big break and coach Vladan Ivic was very impressed with him in the materials he received.
There is still a gap of $ 40,000 per season between Gagon and Maccabi Tel Aviv, but this is already closing the gap significantly and he is expected to sign a new contract and be one of the team's six foreigners.
