Maccabi Tel Aviv continues to consolidate its staff for the 2022/23 season, and after announcing the addition of Alex Poiters yesterday (Tuesday), this morning the Yellows announced the signing of Bonzi Coulson.
Coulson (26, 1.98) has been a graduate of Notre Dame University since 2018 when in his senior year of college suffered many injuries, including a foot injury during the NIT tournament.
In the summer of 2018 he signed with Cleveland, and was sent to the Wisconsin Hearing Development Team.
In January 2019 he signed a bilateral contract with Milwaukee, and on March 31st exploded with 15 points and 16 rebounds in 41 minutes against Atlanta.
Coulson left for Europe in the summer of 2019 when he signed for Drushpak, where he played up to the Corona and recorded 12.2 points and 5.1 rebounds in the Turkish league and 10.8 points and 5 rebounds in the EuroCup.
His success led Strasbourg to France, he finished as the MVP of the French league, the leading scorer of the Champions League and the MVP of the factory.
Maccabi Tel Aviv worked to add him, but in the end he signed for Karsiyaka, excelling in his first game of the season against Hapoel Jerusalem and even scoring the winning basket.
