Sadio Mané is moving to Bayern Munich and is scheduled to be officially introduced on Wednesday.
Now the superstar is declaring his move to Säbener Straße.
Munich – The rumor mill has been simmering for weeks, now the transfer is dry: Sadio Mané (30) is moving from Liverpool to Bayern Munich.
The newcomer has already passed the obligatory medical check-up and will be officially presented at a press conference on Wednesday evening.
In an interview, the Senegalese explains why he chose the German record champions.

"When my advisor first told me about Bayern Munich's interest, I was hooked," the winger told

"I saw myself there right away.
For me it was the right club at the right time.
It's one of the biggest clubs in the world and the team is always fighting for every title," Mané continues.

However, the superstar warns against expecting too much.
Of course he wants to do everything to win trophies with FCB, "but it's still a bit early to talk about the Champions League final, we haven't even played a game together."

During transfer negotiations, the FCB sports director presents his potential newcomers with detailed career plans with the Munich team in order to show them a long-term perspective.
Among other things, the later top performer Alphonso Davies could be convinced in this way to move to Säbener Straße.

Mane blocks
It is currently more than questionable whether Sadio Mané will storm alongside Robert Lewandowski.
The Pole speaks openly of a rift with FC Bayern and probably wants to leave Munich for FC Barcelona.
However, Sadio Mané blocks a question about this.
"I'm not a player who focuses on things like that.
I'm here for FC Bayern," the 30-year-old clarifies.
