The Syrian national football team opened its participation in the West Asian Championship, which is currently being held in Jordan, with an important victory over the Palestinian team with two goals to one, in the match that brought them together today at the Aqaba Stadium.
Our team will meet in its second match in the tournament in the second group with Lebanon next Friday, to face its Kuwaiti counterpart next Sunday.
According to the tournament system, the first and second of the two groups of the tournament qualify for the semi-finals, and the two qualifiers will play the final match on the thirtieth of this month.
