A huge achievement for the Israeli stabbing team, which advanced today (Wednesday) to the finals of the European Championship held in Antalya, Turkey.
In doing so, she secured a group medal for the first time in the history of the industry in Israel.
The team, consisting of European champion for 2019 Yuval Freilich, Ido Harper, Gregory Baskin and Yonatan Cohen, automatically qualified for the quarterfinals, where they met the strong Spain and defeated them 34:45.
Then they continued with great ability also in the quarterfinals with a 33:45 victory over Ukraine.
At halftime, Israel met Denmark in third place in a close and dramatic battle, in which the lead moved from side to side.
For the last round, Freilich, who kept his cool, went up until the big victory over the tip of a lone 'mascara' with 44:45.

This achievement will help the team better screw up at the summer world championships in Cairo and make a big step towards bringing a team for the first time to the Olympic Games in Paris as well.
