The NBA Draft will take place tonight (Friday) at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and the one who continues to climb up and down the name exchange ahead of the event is 19-year-old Frenchman Osman Dying.
Who started his career at the French Basketball Academy, and also won a silver medal at the European Championships with the under-16 team, chose at a young age to play at the other end of the world with the "New Zealand Breakers" of Dan Shamir and Modi Maor Israelis.
Dying has been since he started playing great basketball potential, but even he did not believe he would become an almost certain lottery pick at such a young age.

"He's the setting for the modern player, 2.08 with Guard features. A pick-and-roll game, excellent morale and good scoring."
Israel Today tells Dan Shamir, who coached Dying this season in a team from the Australian league.
"At the start of the season he was out of things, and the predictions about the future would have seemed a bit ridiculous to us, but after a whole season I can say I believe he's going to be an amazing NBA player."
Despite his height and long armrest, the "ticket" of the rising star is the ability to handle the ball and conduct a game.
He plays in positions 2 and 3, excellent morale, he has excellent dribbling, a quick first step and he knows how to finish near the basket and also score from all ranges.
"He is something special, he is the most talented player I have coached and the sky is the limit for him" adds assistant coach Modi Maor, who next season will take the reins and be the team's head coach.

The statistics
from the French talent lie scored an average of 8.9 points this season and dropped 3 rebounds, with 40% from the field and only 27% from beyond the arc, but his statistics can be misleading, and the scouts in the United States seem to understand that too.
During the last season, Dying has improved greatly among the Israelis "also in terms of numbers, and especially in archery, an extreme improvement - which indicates his talent," says Maor.
"He started the season very badly, it was hard to keep him on the pitch at first, but we knew it was an important project and even when he played poorly he got the minutes. At the end of the season he becomes the player you want to make the decisive minutes. He likes to train and work hard ".

But there are also many things that the Frenchman will need to improve in order to become a significant player in the NBA.
"He needs to get stronger physically, and improve his shooting from three."
Says Shamir, and also recounts a particular physical problem: "During his season in France he was injured twice which are the result of physical development."

In the draft forecasts in the United States, Dying is ranked as a choice that will move around 10th place, with the teams that are to be picked up being Cleveland San Antonio, New Orleans, and even Danny Abdia's Washington Wizards.

Modi Maor also believes that the team that chooses Dying will greatly influence his development and integration in the league.
"It very much depends on which team will take him. The sky is the limit, because his potential is infinite."

League has in recent years become an incubator for young prospects aiming to reach the best league in the world.
Lamello Ball, R.J. Hampton, and Jason Tate are just some of the players who have moved on to the NBL along the way, and the league seems to be slowly becoming an undeclared college - giving players who go through it an advantage, due to the experience in parquet minutes against professional players.
The position in which the player will be selected in the draft appears to be much less important, but the identity of the team is critical.
Ding has everything it takes to become a star in the NBA, but the team that picks him up will have to give him time to make mistakes and grow from them.
