This Wednesday at the headquarters of the Spanish Football Federation, the draw for the 22-23 League calendar was held, the most atypical in history, due to the conditioning on the dates that supposes that the Qatar World Cup will be played between 21 November and December 18.
The league championship will begin on the weekend of August 12-14 and will be interrupted by the World Cup on November 9.
It will resume on December 31 and end on June 4.
As has been the case for three seasons, the calendar is asymmetrical.
On the first day, the champion, Real Madrid, will visit the newly promoted Almería, Barcelona will host Rayo Vallecano and Getafe and Atlético will star in the first derby of the season at the Alfonso Pérez Coliseum.
The first classic will be played on the ninth day, on October 16 at the Santiago Bernabéu, and the second leg, on March 19, day 26. The great Madrid derby will take place on the ninth day, October 16, and if it will play in the Metropolitan.
