Sadio Mané is finally here, but the transfer activities at FC Bayern are apparently not over yet.

"We still have ideas," announced Hasan Salihamidzic.

Munich – There he is, the “world star”: Sadio Mané was introduced to Bayern Munich on Wednesday afternoon.

The Senegalese received a contract with the record champions until 2025 and came to Säbener Straße from Liverpool FC for a fixed fee of 32 million plus various possible bonus payments of nine million.

With Ryan Gravenberch and Noussair Mazraoui from Ajax Amsterdam, Munich have already made further upgrades to the squad.

The FCB bosses apparently felt compelled to do so after the mixed second half of last season.

A certain "comfort spread," said Oliver Kahn on Wednesday afternoon at the presentation of Mané.

FC Bayern: Who else do Brazzo and Kahn have on the list?

"We have ideas"

With the transfers made, they want to heat up the competition.

"We want fresh blood," continued the FCB-SEO, who also announced: "We continue to monitor everything that happens.

We already know exactly where we need competition and want to set stimulus points.

It's about doing everything you can to be super successful.”

Hasan Salihamidzic also did not want to rule out another top transfer.

"We will continue to keep our eyes open and see what our financial possibilities allow us to do," said the FCB sporting director: "We have ideas."

But which?

There are currently a number of world-class players who will be available on a free transfer at the end of June.

The possible realistic transfers depend on who else leaves the club.

Although Kahn was unimpressed by Robert Lewandowski's thoughts of emigrating ("We're looking forward to welcoming him to the start of training"), the Pole's farewell this summer is still likely.

If FC Barcelona put a certain amount on the table, Kahn could also rethink.

Personal Serge Gnabry also remains exciting.

With the Mané deal, the competition for the national player has not decreased.

It is quite possible that he will not extend his contract, which expires in 2023, in the summer - and will therefore be sold.

Here, too, Bayern could get a lot of money again.

FC Bayern: Laimer and Kalajdzic before change?

It probably depends on the departures

Sasa Kalajdzic has been traded as Lewandowski's successor for weeks.

However, FC Bayern now has competition.

Clubs from England are now vying for the services of the Austrian from VfB Stuttgart.

Otherwise, Konrad Laimer is still the focus of Munich.

Free transfer superstars: does FC Bayern strike?

RB Leipzig's midfield engine apparently does not want to extend his contract, which is due to expire next summer - which is why a farewell is in the offing.

Julian Nagelsmann is a big fan of the six, especially his aggressiveness would look good on the FCB midfield.

Is it one of Brazzo's "ideas"?

Laimer would probably be affordable for Marc Roca with the millions, even if Gravenberch was not exactly cheap with his 25 million.

And otherwise?

Recently, Raheem Sterling from Manchester City was traded as a new signing at FC Bayern.

However, this transfer seems impossible.

Piotr Zielinski from SSC Naples will probably not pitch his tents on the Isar either.

It remains to be seen whether Ousmane Dembele from FC Barcelona will get hot again with a possible Gnabry farewell.

Central defender Andreas Christensen (Chelsea FC), on the other hand, will definitely not appear in the Allianz Arena - at least not in an FCB jersey, he is about to move to the Catalans.

But things remain exciting on Säbener Straße.

The transfer window is open until August 31st.

A lot can happen before then - and a lot of water will still flow down the Isar...
