Germany's national soccer players won their last test before the European Championships in England (July 6th to 31st) 7-0 (2-0).

In Erfurt, Klara Bühl gave the team an early lead against Switzerland, also a participant in the European Championship tournament (6th minute).

Lina Magull (41st) and Bühl again (61st and 66th) increased.

Linda Dallmann (81') and Jule Brand (89') completed the half-dozen, Sydney Lohmann finished the game (90'+5').

Coach Martina Voss-Tecklenburg got off to a brilliant start: after a dream pass from Magull, Bühl ran towards the guest goal from a half-left position and, somewhat happily, overcame guest goalkeeper Gaëlle Thalmann from almost ten meters out.

The seven-time European champions Germany acted dominantly in the period that followed and had to survive a moment of shock when defender Marina Hegering wobbled, and goalkeeper Merle Frohms had to save.

Germany should have been awarded a penalty shortly before the break, but referee Kirsty Dowle misjudged Noelle Maritz's foul on Felicitas Rauch outside the penalty area (37').

Bühl prepares and meets

The 2-0 came before the half-time whistle: this time Bühl prepared the left wing and Magull converted her sharp cross from the six-yard box (41').

In the 61st minute it was Bühl again who surprised goalkeeper Thalmann from 20 meters on the left and scored the 3-0.

The offensive player from FC Bayern Munich scored her third goal a few minutes later: after club colleague Lea Schüller had failed at the post, the 21-year-old only had to push the ball over the line (66').

Substitutes Dallmann, Brand and Lohmann scored to make it 5-0, 6-0 and 7-0 (81st, 89th and 90th + 5).

The Swiss will meet Portugal (July 9th), Sweden (July 13th) and the Netherlands (July 17th, 6 p.m. each) at the European Championships.

In the group stage, Germany meets Denmark (8 July), Spain (12 July) and Finland (16 July, both at 9 p.m.).
