French swimmer Mélanie Henique won the silver medal in the 50m butterfly on Friday at the Budapest World Championships, won by Sweden's Sarah Sjostrom.

Frenchwoman Mélanie Henique won the silver medal in the 50m butterfly at the World Swimming Championships behind Sweden's Sarah Sjostrom, three-time defending champion and once again crowned, on Friday in Budapest.

Henique, 29, brings France its seventh Worlds medal.
