Rafi Manko is approaching signing with Maccabi Tel Aviv.
The Israeli forward (28, 2.00), who was one of the senior factors in Hapoel Holon's winning the championship, decided to leave the Purples, and is expected to close his terms in Oded Katash's team, with Oz Blazer set to do the opposite and get into shoes in Holon after receiving an offer.
As you may recall, Manco's candidacy, which was written about here earlier this week, came as a result of Tomer Ginat's decision to refuse Maccabi's offer and sign with Hapoel Tel Aviv.
At the same time, Maccabi Tel Aviv has stepped up its efforts to add TJ Leaf.
The son of former player Brad Leaf is in advanced contact with the Yellows, and his joining the front line, which also includes Roman Sorkin in the Israeli segment, is expected to pave the way for Jake Cohen.
In the case of Cohen as well, Holon is waiting for developments and will work to sign him if he is indeed released.

After announcing the addition of Alex Poiters and Bonzi Coulson and the return of Guy Pnini, Maccabi Tel Aviv is expected to announce earlier this week the signing of Darren Hilliard, who has already officially parted ways with Bayern Munich.
Two other players who are in talks with the team are Lorenzo Brown and Daryl Macon, whose candidacies we have announced over the past few days.
