Wilbkin (29, 1.88) reached the Yellows in the summer of 2018 after being bought from Turkish side Drushpaka for about a million dollars, the team he played for for three years and led to a EuroCup win a season earlier.
He immediately became a star of Maccabi Tel Aviv and one of its most significant players in the Euroleague.
After a season and a half in team uniform he signed for another three years, with the team in his time managing to get into the Euroleague playoffs once, this season, and once again finishing in fourth place, but the playoffs did not take place following an outbreak of Corona virus.
His peak display in the yellow uniform came this season in the home game against Monaco when he scored 37 points and finished with an index of 37. He scored 1,771 points in the Euroleague in the Maccabi uniform in 124 games, an average of 14.2 points per game.
His best season was the 2019/20 season, when he averaged 16.1 points per game.
In the Premier League he finished with three championships and one state cup, scoring 1,262 points with an average of 13.4 points per game.
The peak of his career came in the 15th round of the 2018/19 season when he bombed 36 points in the away game against Hapoel Tel Aviv.
