In a second friendly match as part of its preparations for the third window of the World Cup qualifiers, the Syrian men's basketball team lost against its Lebanese counterpart by 83-71 points, during their meeting in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
Our team lost against its Lebanese counterpart in its first friendly match yesterday, with a score of 82-76 points, knowing that these two friendlies come within the camp of our team, which it is conducting in Lebanon in preparation for the aforementioned qualifiers.
Our team will meet Bahrain and Iran in the third window, which will be held in the city of Aleppo on the grounds of Al-Hamdania Hall on the first and fourth of next July, respectively.
It is noteworthy that if our team wins the first match against Bahrain, it will qualify for the second round of the World Cup qualifiers as the third group in its group that includes Kazakhstan, Iran and Bahrain.
