Now it's official: Scotty Wilbkin is leaving Maccabi Tel Aviv after four seasons in which he became the big star of the Yellows.
As first reported in "Israel Today", the 29-year-old guard will officially sign in the coming days with the Turkish champions Fenerbahce, who paid him high compensation for the Yellows.
"I will always remember and cherish these four years. I want to thank Maccabi and the management for the opportunity and concern during my time in Israel. I am grateful for the titles we won and the relationships I built along the way. I want to say a big thank you to the fans for all the love and support. The house we got. The official farewell announcement reads: "The Maccabi Tel Aviv Basketball Club family thanks Scotty and his wife Maria for an unforgettable joint experience and wishes them success along the way.
"Scotty Wilbkin parted ways with Maccabi Tel Aviv after four seasons at the club in which he became the number one star.
