Progress in negotiations between Maccabi Haifa and Piero Israel today

2022-06-26T06:25:12.633Z

If the deal goes through, Piero may be the most expensive acquisition player in the club's history, with his salary exceeding 400,000 euros.

Maccabi Haifa will start this morning (Sunday) a mini training camp in Kfar Galim, while the players will gather at a hotel in the city.

Later this week, the champion will hold a training match against Maccabi Netanya.

Beyond that, the club will try to complete this week the purchase deal of striker Franzi Piero from French Gangan.

At the end of the week, progress was made in the negotiations, with the Greens' offer of 1.6 million euros being accepted.

The problem right now is with the player's contract, which the team has offered him over € 400 for three seasons, but he is demanding more - even though he has earned much less in France.

Maccabi Haifa is not giving up, and will offer the striker from Haiti a new contract.

If the deal goes through, Piero may be the most valuable acquisition player in the club's history.

If the player does not respond to the offer, Haifa may look for other alternatives up front.

Also on the subject of strengthening the staff, the club is following a French left-back who has played in recent years in the top leagues on the continent.

In doing so, in fact, Maccabi Haifa will almost finally complete the roster.

If it is possible to attach another Israeli brake at a reasonable price, the professional team will go for it.
