This is a case whose outcome should relieve Paris Saint-Germain.
Arrived at PSG in 2019 and at the end of his contract in a few days, the young Dutch striker Xavi Simons (19) should very soon extend his contract with the capital club according to the Italian journalist specializing in the transfer window Fabrizio Romano, confirmed by RMC Sport.
Romano as RMC specify that the negotiations are "in the final stage" and that the PSG is "about" to reach an agreement with his young player for "a long-term contract" before... lending him.
Excl: Paris Saint-Germain are on the verge of reaching full agreement with Xavi Simons to extend the contract - then loan him out to PSV Eindhoven.
Negotiations and final stages.

In the wake of his extension, he would therefore join PSV Eindhoven, 2nd in the Dutch championship this season, to gain some playing time away from Porte d'Auteuil.
According to RMC Sport, “Luis Campos wanted to extend and then loaned the Dutchman, Antero Henrique took over to finalize the file”.
Still issues to settle with the U19s
The question of young Parisians has been a thorny issue this season.
Successful in the national U19 championship, where they finished first in their group before failing at the gates of the final, and in the Youth League, where they qualified brilliantly for the final phase before falling to Salzburg in the quarter-finals -final, the "Titis" have had very little playing time this season under the direction of Mauricio Pochettino, despite very good pro entries for some.
Author of 4 goals and 6 assists in 7 Youth League games with the Parisian U19s this season, Xavi Simons was only entitled to 318 minutes of playing time with the first team, including a first start in the League 1 in February against Rennes.
Several files, including that of Simons, were thus priorities for PSG.
President Nasser Al-KhelaĂŻfi thus insisted in his interview with Le Parisien that he wanted to give back an important place to the training center in the Parisian project.
The club already announced a few days ago the signing of Ismaël Gharbi's first professional contract, while others are hoped for or expected this summer (Warren Zaire-Emery, Ayman Kari, etc.).
