Dan Shamir returns to work under Ettore Messina after being appointed assistant coach of Armani Milano.
The two reunite after working together in the 2013/14 season at CSKA Moscow. The 47-year-old Shamir will continue to coach outside of Israel after finishing his career at the New Zealand Breakers and his replacement will be his assistant Modi Maor.
Milan made a change in the professional team this summer after last season's assistant Gianmarko Potzko was appointed national team coach.
Al Shamir, 47, will join former team player Pepe Poeta.
