With the participation of most of the governorates, in addition to the police, the Republic Championship for artistic gymnastics for the junior and junior categories was concluded, which was hosted by Al-Fayhaa Sports Hall in Damascus.

The results of the tournament resulted in the Aleppo team winning first the team championship in the junior category, followed by the Tartous team, then the As-Suwayda team, while Abdel Rahman Khoja won the first place in the individual competitions for the junior category, leaving second place to Omar Al-Hallaq, both of them from Aleppo, while Kumait Mihoub and Hamza Mahmoud from Tartous came in third place.

As for the junior category, its singles competition ended with Talal Belidi from the Police Authority winning the first place, while Muhannad Hallaq and Ayham Hammash came second and third, respectively, both from Aleppo.

The President of the Game Federation, Mohamed Haboubati, said in a statement to SANA: This tournament comes within the Federation’s agenda, and is the second this year, with the aim of expanding the base of the game and introducing gymnastics, pointing out that it witnessed strong competitions between the participants and produced a group of promising talents, which we will work to develop to reach the required level, noting at the same time. The importance of the return of Al-Hasakah Governorate to the resumption of participation in the championships again after a period of interruption.
