End of period.
Scotty Wilbkin, who announced yesterday (Saturday) that he is leaving Maccabi Tel Aviv, has officially signed with the Turkish Fenerbahce - and will play next year against the Yellows in the Euroleague.
Wilbkin, 29, arrived in Tel Aviv in 2018 and became the undisputed star of the Yellows, and the crowd favorite in Yad Eliyahu.
He moves to Turkey and will play under new coach Dimitrios Itudis, in the impressive team being built in Turkey.

As you may recall, a few months ago we published that Fenerbahce is examining the possibility of attaching the yellow star, and about two weeks ago we wrote that the Turks are willing to pay a significant amount of compensation for allowing the player's contract.
In the period that has passed since then the contacts between the parties have progressed and a few days ago the deal was finally closed.
Fenner's high motivation to join Wilbkin is also based on the Turkish passport he holds from his excellent time in Drushpak.
He also previously played for the Turkish national team, until Shane Larkin was favored over him in recent campaigns.
Thank you @ scottiew_5 & good luck!
